Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing invoicing, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices to customers.
  • Process incoming payments and accurately record them in the accounting system.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
  • Maintain and update customer files and records.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
