Position Responsibilities of the Employment Specialist:

• Become point of contact for associates
• Complete daily sales calls to gain new business and set appointments for sales representative
• Work to hit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly goals
• Post jobs to job boards, Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
• Conduct phone and in person interviews with applicants
• Perform sales calls to local businesses to gain new job orders
• Place applicants in jobs that match their skills and experience
• Perform background checks and drug screens
• Maintain working knowledge of all clients and job orders
• Create applicant profile in applicant tracking system
• Conduct inquiry calls and schedule interviews with applicants
• Coach associates
• Conduct new hire safety orientation
• Perform client safety tours
• Terminate associate’s assignments
• Juggle multiple applications and software
• Create new and unique job postings
• Maintain client relations via phone, email, and in person communication
• Promote and attend local job fairs
• Other duties as needed

Requirements of the Employment Specialist:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in an office setting
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Must be sales focused
• Very comfortable with computers
• Experience with Google Docs
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask
