Job Summary Warehouse Associate – 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive, organize, store, pick, and ship merchandise and supplies to satisfy customer orders.

• Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hoses after receiving proper training. 

• Assist walk-in customers at the retail counter with hose repairs, product guidance, and order processing.

• Shipping and receiving tasks, such as unloading and processing inventory. 

• Moving, storing, and transferring materials within the warehouse. 

• Keeping stock organized—on shelves or in designated locations. 

• Displaying merchandise and recommending products to meet customer needs, highlighting key features like quality and utility. 

• Explaining product features and uses, offering customer recommendations. 

• Escalating inventory issues or customer concerns to management as needed. 

• Maintaining environmental, health, and safety standards. 

• Performing additional assigned tasks as required.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Warehouse experience in industrial or hydraulic settings. 

• Forklift operation ability; certification may be required or preferred. 

• Comfortable lifting items over 50 pounds. 

• Teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. 

• Accuracy in transaction handling and attention to detail. 

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written. 

• Mechanically inclined—a comfort with hand tools, tape measures, saws, crimpers, etc.—especially in Counter/Warehouse roles. 

• Basic computer skills, including use of the internet and Microsoft Office.
