We are hiring an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a 3rd shift opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Springfield, IL. This role is ideal for candidates with strong forklift skills, warehouse experience, and a safety-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklift to move materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

• Transport materials between departments and production areas

• Assist machinists with positioning, lifting, and staging parts

• Flip parts for cleaning and perform basic deburring tasks

• Support general labor and production needs as required

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and work instructions

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of forklift experience (sit-down forklift preferred)

• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a physical role

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Safety-focused with good judgment and awareness

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and reliability
