Journeyman Machinist
Location: Lower Burrell, PA
Pay: Based on experience ($24-$30/hour)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced machinist to support operations in a manufacturing/machine shop environment in Lower Burrell, PA. Responsibilities of the Machinist:

• • Proficiently program/operate/edit CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts
  • Set up machines using detailed sheets and tool lists for efficient runs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy
  • Conduct inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other gauging tools
  • Deburr and finish parts to meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Apply manual machining skills as needed (experience is a plus!)
  • Collaborate with the team on process improvements and troubleshooting
  • Leverage experience to mentor apprentices

Requirements of the Machinist:

• • At least 6 years of CNC machining experience (we'll consider strong manual machining backgrounds or eager learners with relevant training)
  • Journeyman Papers
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for high-precision work
  • Excellent verbal communication to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools proficiently
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., NIMS) are a bonus
  • Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced setting
