About the Opportunity: Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of a reputable food manufacturing company in Missouri City, TX. Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, changeover, and adjust production machinery to ensure efficient operations
Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness for on-time startup
Perform routine equipment adjustments and minor repairs to maintain consistent product flow
Conduct process control checks and ensure product quality standards are met
Operate date coding equipment and verify accuracy of product labeling
Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation in accordance with company standards
Assist Quality Assurance with product sampling and inspections
Support team members with additional production-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food manufacturing or machine operation preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and make mechanical adjustments to equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Understanding of GMP and safety standards in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Willingness to work all shifts, including overtime as needed
