Job Summary:

The Embroidery Operator is responsible for operating multiple single head machines, creating a variety of business logos, initials, or decorative designs on customized products. Typically scheduled hours are Monday through Friday 6 AM to 3: 30 PM with occasional mandatory overtime. This job takes place in a large warehouse environment.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate embroidery machine to embroider business logos, initials, or decorative designs on merchandise
  • Use embroidery hoops to hold the fabric in place during embroidery
  • Processes customer orders according to customer specifications utilizing various equipment at full capacity
  • Select correct thread color and guide it through thread path of embroidery machine
  • Fill orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare and package orders for shipping
  • Perform Quality Assurance as needed
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with embroidery a plus
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain speed and efficiency and be fully committed to excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Ability to understand thread tension
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task when necessary
  • Ability/Aptitude to understand/master setup and operation of complex embroidery machinery
  • Strong color, close and distance vision is required
  • Ability to thread a needle
  • Experience with embroider designing software a huge plus
  • Intermediate computer skills – data entry
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
  • Ability to work occasional overtime
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • The high degree of quality control to ensure the final product meets customer expectations

Physical Demands:

  • Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms, to demonstrate fine dexterity skills
  • Ability to move about the facility, to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch
  • Ability to stand the majority of the time
  • Ability to lifting, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay Rate $15/hr.
