Job Title: CDL Class A Delivery Driver (Ice Distribution)

 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our ice distribution team. This role involves delivering packaged ice to retail and commercial customers using a refrigerated box-style truck. Drivers play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining product quality, and providing excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a refrigerated box truck to deliver bagged ice to retail stores, convenience stores, and commercial locations

• Load, transport, and unload ice products at designated stops along assigned routes

• Set up and maintain ice merchandisers/freezer boxes at customer locations as needed

• Follow established delivery routes and schedules (typically 8–10 hours per day)

• Ensure proper product handling to maintain quality and prevent damage

• Complete delivery logs, inspection reports, and required paperwork accurately

• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

• Current DOT physical and valid medical card

• Ability to lift and move heavy bags of ice repeatedly throughout the day

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred

Work Schedule:

• Routes typically last 8–10 hours per day

• Schedule may vary based on demand and seasonality

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of ice bags

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
