Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to perform quality assurance testing, prepares reports, and provides technical support for chemical additives and fluid design. This role supports field operations by ensuring accurate and timely laboratory deliverables and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Pay rate: $18 – $21/hour, based on experience.

Hours: 12 hour shift

Location: Midland, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assurance tests and prepare laboratory reports prior to field operations.
• Support additive selection and fluid design decisions through technical analysis.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Assist technical engineers with laboratory tasks and field support.
• Prepare technical presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Participate in safety, HSE, and quality initiatives.
• Perform risk assessments before tasks to ensure safety and compliance.
• Participate in service performance meetings and implement improvements.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or high school diploma.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in technical or science-related field.
• Additional training
• Prior experience in a chemical laboratory or related environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour day/night rotations.
