The Human Resources Generalist & Payroll Specialist is a key operational and people-focused role at our client's facility. This position is responsible for ensuring excellence in payroll administration, benefits management, compliance reporting, and employee support while also contributing to the development of strong teams and a positive workplace culture. Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist & Payroll Specialist performs a wide range of payroll, benefits, HR compliance, and employee support functions. This role ensures accurate weekly and monthly payroll processing, manages onboarding and credentialing, supports benefits administration, and maintains compliance with federal, state, and job-specific reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, but equally energized by supporting employees, building strong internal relationships, and contributing to a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications
· 2–5 years of experience in payroll or human resources in companies with at least 150 employees, with multi-division and/or multi-state operations is required.
· Understanding of payroll and tax laws, prevailing wage requirements, and garnishment regulations
· Experience with benefits administration and workers’ compensation
· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems, experience with UKG HRIS preferred.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
