Finish Carpenter / Installer Job Summary:

A locally owned seller and installer of commercial storage solutions is seeking a Finish Carpenter / Installer to add to their installation team. The company is looking to bring someone on board as soon as possible.

 

Finish Carpenter / Installer Responsibilities:

• Working with a team of installers on commercial job sites as they assemble and install lockers, storage cabinets, metal and wire shelving, dividers, mesh partitions and cages, and related hardware and products
• Perform finish carpentry at job sites
• Use power tools and hand tools
• Reading prints and instructions
• Interacting with customers (internally and externally), and driving to and from client job sites

Pay: $20-32/hour Based on experience

Schedule: 1^st Shift with overtime

                Monday – Friday: 6am – 6pm availability needed

                Saturday: 6am – 6pm availability needed (O.T. in spring/summer months)

 

Finish Carpenter / Installer Qualifications:

• 3-5 years working as a finish carpenter
• Leadership experience is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• Ability to obtain chauffer’s license and DOT medical certification
• Mechanically inclined and able to read blueprints
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English
• Overnight travel may be required in some cases through West Michigan, Northern Michigan / Upper Peninsula, and Northern Indiana
