A growing health insurance brokerage firm in Chicago is seeking a Licensed Benefits Account Representative to support employer group clients and deliver exceptional service across their benefits programs.

This is a dynamic, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in building strong, long-term relationships. You will play a key role in both guiding prospects through benefit options and supporting clients post-enrollment.

Account Representative Key Responsibilities

• Assist prospective clients in navigating the MetLife portal while evaluating benefit options
• Answer plan-related and general insurance questions during the shopping process
• Provide clear, accurate guidance on coverage, plan features, and benefits
• Deliver responsive, high-quality service via phone and email
• Support employer groups with employee additions, terminations, and eligibility updates
• Respond to billing inquiries and policy service requests
• Serve as a trusted resource for general benefits-related questions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service experience

Account Representative Qualifications

• Active Life & Health Insurance License (Required)
• Experience supporting employer-sponsored group benefits programs
• Knowledge of: dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability plans
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Team-oriented with a professional, service-driven mindset
