Job Summary

The Commercial Automobile Painter will be responsible for preparing, priming, and applying paint and coatings to metal parts and assemblies. The ideal candidate has previous experience in an industrial or automotive paint environment and takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces for paint (sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming).
• Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings using spray equipment.
• Inspect painted parts for quality, coverage, and color accuracy.
• Maintain paint booth and equipment to ensure safe, clean operation.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial or automotive painting experience required.
• Experience with HVLP spray guns, urethane, or epoxy coatings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
