The Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging materials and finished goods to support production and shipping operations. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick materials and products according to pick lists, work orders, or RF scanner instructions
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and product specifications to ensure order accuracy
• Stage picked items for production, packing, or shipment in designated areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures, quality guidelines, and company policies
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervision
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and comprehend pick tickets, work orders, and basic instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Work Schedule

• Full-time; hours may vary based on operational needs
• Overtime may be required
