A manufacturing company in Boardman is looking for experienced Pipe Fitters to join their team!

 

Responsibilities:

• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment, according to blueprints
• Assemble or secure pipes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications
• Attach pipes to walls, structures or fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment
• Modify, clean or maintain pipe systems, units, fittings or related machines using hand or power tools
• Knowledge of API 1104 and ASME weldments highly desirable
• Use advance math including trigonometry
• Knowledge of pipe formulas
• Knowledge of pipe fittings and takeoffs
• Ability to layout and segment pipe to customer specs
• Ability to cut pipe and knowledge of beveling practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year certificate from college or technical school OR related experience and training
• 3 years of pipe fitting required
• 3-5 years of working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints and use math skills
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
• Must be able to work as a team

SHIFT: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm (OT is Monday-Friday 6am-4:30 and Saturdays 6am-12pm)

 

PAY RATE: $18-$26/hour based on experience
