Duties for the Slitter Helper – Standard  are:

• Prep & Support Production: Read the production board to understand the day's workload, gather materials, and set them up on skids next to the slitting machines to keep production running smoothly without interruption.
• Inspect & Ship Finished Product: Check the quality of finished rolls throughout the shift, wrap completed product, and move it to shipping/receiving to ensure it gets out to the customer correctly and on time.
• Paperwork, Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety procedures on the floor, fill out production reports and any required paperwork, and keep your workspace clean and organized throughout the shift.

Requirements for the Slitter Helper – Standard include:

• Reliable & Safety-Minded: Must show up consistently, follow all workplace safety procedures without exception, and be comfortable being on your feet for the duration of the shift in an active production environment.
• Physically Capable: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly throughout the shift and remain standing and moving for the majority of the workday.
• Basic Measurement & Drug Screening: Must be comfortable using a tape measure on the job and be willing to complete a mouth swab drug screen within the first two weeks of the assignment.
