Warehouse Painter

Located in Mission, TX

Express is looking for Painters to work for a Warehouse in the Mission Area, 3rd shift:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Apply coatings to surfaces by use of brush, roller, conventional spray, and airless spray applications
Clean and store paint tools and equipment after use.
Maintain a clean and organized jobsite free from any unnecessary hazards associated with the work being performed by a paint crew.
Measure and mix paint with a paint mixer.
Monitor and maintain a breathing air box during blasting operations.
Monitor and maintain paint and blast pots during paint operations.
Perform general housekeeping and all assigned duties on a jobsite, as directed by supervision.
Prepare surfaces for coating application by the use of hand tools, power tools, and blasting equipment
Provide support to a paint crew in the painting and blasting of pipes, structures, etc., and effectively communicate with crew members and supervision
Storing and disposing of chemicals in accordance with policies and procedures, Federal, State, and Local laws.
Visually inspect surfaces prepared for coating application
Prepares paint using proper techniques, equipment, and materials.
Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from surfaces in preparation for paint application.
Measures the area to be painted, determines quantity and type of paint to use for the project.
Identifies and orders appropriate paint colors and finishes, mixing if needed.
Prepares surfaces to be painted, which may include removing prior finishes through chemicals, grit blast, or other methods.
Masks, removes, covers, or otherwise protects furniture, hardware, trim, and other nonpainted surfaces.
Applies paint to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, sprayers, airbrushes, stencils, and other tools.
Performs basic stencil and line work, which may include painting lines on factory floors, parking lots, and other surfaces.
May apply wallpaper, specialty finishes, and glazes.
Complies with chemical and waste storage and disposal regulations and best practices.
Builds scaffolding according to safety regulations.
Maintains a clean work area.
Prepares invoices and other paperwork detailing material and labor time and costs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule: We are looking for candidates who can work Overtime since at times you do stay past your end time.

3rd Shift: 7 pm-3 am Monday - Friday
Pay: $13-$15
