Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a qualified Construction Quality Control (QC) Manager on behalf of a respected construction company. This role is responsible for ensuring all construction activities meet strict quality standards, particularly on federal and USACE projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with quality control systems, documentation, and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage the USACE Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan

• Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections

• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and approved submittals

• Coordinate quality control activities with project teams, subcontractors, and USACE QA staff

• Maintain QC documentation, daily reports, and corrective actions in RMS/QCS

• Identify, document, and resolve non-conforming work in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of construction experience with quality control on federal projects or a degree in Construction Management

• USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification (required)

• Experience using RMS/QCS systems

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
