Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and responding to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement effective solutions to reduce downtime
  • Complete work orders accurately and document repairs and maintenance activities
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with production, supervision, and management regarding equipment status
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes and equipment reliability

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred)
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Experience with troubleshooting motors, conveyors, bearings, pumps, and controls
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as needed

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Welding or fabrication skills
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
  • Forklift or lift equipment certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
