Salary: $17/hr
As a Line Cook at the resort’s restaurant, you’ll work under the Executive Chef to help prepare food and execute menu items consistently and to the hotel’s quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site culinary role that requires flexibility with scheduling (including weekends and holidays) and strong teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment, providing excellent food service for both locals and guests.
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and hotel standards.
Plan, prep, and set up food stations for service, including ingredients and equipment.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools.
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation in line with kitchen standards and plating guides.
Help ensure all food and beverage items are prepared and served safely according to health and safety regulations.
Participate in kitchen maintenance and preventative upkeep of cooking equipment.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and management throughout service.
Experience: Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary position preferred.
Food Safety: Knowledge of sanitation principles and safe food handling; food safety certification preferred.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, creativity in food preparation, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift/carry kitchen items during service.
Communication: Effective communication with team members and management.
