Salary: $17/hr

As a Line Cook at the resort’s restaurant, you’ll work under the Executive Chef to help prepare food and execute menu items consistently and to the hotel’s quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site culinary role that requires flexibility with scheduling (including weekends and holidays) and strong teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment, providing excellent food service for both locals and guests.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and hotel standards.

  • Plan, prep, and set up food stations for service, including ingredients and equipment.

  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools.

  • Ensure consistent food quality and presentation in line with kitchen standards and plating guides.

  • Help ensure all food and beverage items are prepared and served safely according to health and safety regulations.

  • Participate in kitchen maintenance and preventative upkeep of cooking equipment.

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and management throughout service.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary position preferred.

  • Food Safety: Knowledge of sanitation principles and safe food handling; food safety certification preferred.

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, creativity in food preparation, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift/carry kitchen items during service.

  • Communication: Effective communication with team members and management.
