We are seeking an experienced HVAC Dispatcher to coordinate daily service operations and ensure technicians are scheduled efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior dispatching experience in HVAC or a related service industry. This role requires someone who can multitask, prioritize service calls, and provide excellent customer service while supporting field technicians and office staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians to service calls, installations, and maintenance appointments

• Coordinate technician routes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime

• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and provide updates on arrival times

• Monitor technician schedules and adjust dispatching as needed throughout the day

• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and job details in the dispatch system

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with scheduling service requests

• Communicate job details, parts requirements, and customer concerns to technicians

• Work closely with management and service teams to ensure timely completion of jobs

• Handle urgent or emergency service calls by prioritizing scheduling accordingly

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC dispatching experience required (or similar service industry dispatching)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust schedules as needed

• Experience using dispatch or scheduling software preferred

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer skills including email, scheduling systems, and data entry
