Fabrication Helper

 

Job Summary:  A small, family-owned company is seeking a General Laborer to join their team.  The candidates will be dedicated individuals who have a great work ethic and will thrive in a team-oriented environment.  

 

Location: St. Joseph, MI

Position Type: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire

Pay/Salary: $18.25 an hour

 

Responsibilities/Job Duties for General Labor: 

• Operating a grinder on steel parts
• Operating a machine to cut and punch out steel
• Be able to operate, or capable of learning to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, computer-operated equipment and read a tape measure

Qualifications/Skills for General Labor:

• Welding experience
• Experience working with steel 
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds
