Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced Human Resources department for a large employer in the Chandler area. This role provides administrative and technical HR support while assisting employees with information, documentation, and HR systems.
The ideal candidate will be organized, computer savvy, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment. This position plays an important role in maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding, supporting HR systems, and ensuring compliance with licensing and documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support across multiple HR functions
Assist with new hire onboarding, rehires, reinstatements, and employee documentation
Process and track licensing paperwork and renewals
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems
Assist with applicant tracking systems and learning management systems
Input, review, and audit employee data to ensure accuracy
Process employee changes, separations, and updates as needed
Generate and maintain HR reports and data analysis
Assist with referral programs and internal temporary programs
Support HR team with employee communications and documentation
Maintain I-9 compliance and work authorization documentation
Participate in team meetings and support overall HR operations
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred 1 year of Human Resources or administrative experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems
Experience working with HRIS systems preferred
Excellent data entry and clerical skills
Ability to compile, analyze, and report data accurately
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred typing speed of 45 WPM or higher
Experience with Oracle systems is a plus
Must be at least 21 years of age
