Position Overview
The Program Control Analyst plays a key role in providing financial planning, analysis, and reporting support for government and commercial programs. This position focuses on cost management, financial performance tracking, and compliance, while delivering meaningful insights that support informed business decisions across multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze program budgets, forecasts, and financial models for government and commercial projects
- Monitor actual costs versus budgeted amounts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities, including baseline setup, performance analysis, and variance reporting
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Analyze complex financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and clearly communicate findings
- Assist with the development, monitoring, and analysis of indirect rates such as overhead, G&A, fringe, and material handling
- Support provisional billing rates, incurred cost submissions, and audit-related activities
- Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies as well as applicable regulatory and contractual requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis within DoD or complex commercial environments
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Dynamics, Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Strong proficiency in financial tools and systems, including advanced Excel modeling and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment supporting multiple programs
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in a manufacturing and production setting
- Extended periods of standing may be required; seating is available at all workstations
- Ability to independently lift and move materials up to 25 pounds
- Frequent use of hands for operating computers, equipment, and tools
- May involve bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
- Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses in designated areas
- Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures
