Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a steady, long‑term opportunity? A Medina manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join its overnight team. ⏰ Schedule

Monday–Thursday | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
(Consistent 12‑hour shifts with long weekends!)

🔧 Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and assisting with engineering‑related projects. You’ll play a major role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform timely equipment changeovers based on production requirements
  • Assist in maintaining the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule
  • Support equipment rebuilds and review project needs
  • Complete repairs as directed by the engineering department
  • Assist operators with equipment setups for proper functionality
  • Request and manage parts, components, and supplies
  • Train plant personnel on equipment operations and safety procedures
  • Follow all OSHA + SDS standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

✔️ Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree a plus
  • Must bring your own tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work nights + overtime when needed
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing environments preferred

🛠️ Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Electrical, pneumatic, plumbing/pipefitting, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Ability to diagnose issues quickly to reduce downtime
  • 2+ years of experience with packaging or production machinery
  • Plumbing/pipefitting experience highly desirable

💪 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a chemical plant setting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Comfortable working in extreme temperatures, indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to stand for long periods (2 hours at a time, several times per shift)
  • Frequent overtime may be required
