Job Title: General Construction Laborer – (Temporary Project)

Location: Craig, MT (approx. 45-minute drive from Helena)
Project Duration: ~4 weeks
Schedule: Full-time, temporary

About the Project

We are seeking dependable construction workers ranging from general laborers to experienced carpenters to support a 4-week remodel project in Craig, MT. This is a temporary assignment involving demolition, renovation, carpentry, and general site support. Reliable transportation is required due to the commute.

Key Responsibilities

General Labor Duties:

• Assist with demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate basic hand and power tools
• Support skilled trades as needed throughout the remodel
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skilled Carpentry Duties (based on experience level):

• Frame walls, install sheathing, and build/repair structural components
• Install doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project plans
• Assist with layout, reading basic plans, and material takeoffs
• Work with foreman to complete daily project goals

Qualifications

General Laborer Level:

• Previous construction or physical labor experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods
• Willingness to learn and follow direction

Carpenter Level:

• 2+ years of carpentry or remodeling experience
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and construction techniques
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
