Salary: $25/hr.

Express Employment is seeking a site logistics coordinator for a steel fabricator.  Job duties include:

• Coordinating the delivery and storage of materials, and monitoring inventory levels
• Ensuring that equipment is delivered, maintained, and efficiently utilized; scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed
• Developing and implementing site logistics to optimize flow of materials by managing organization of storage areas and loading/unloading zones
• Acting as a point of contact between suppliers, subcontractors, and construction team and addressing and resolving any logistical issues that arise onsite
• Ensuring that all logistics activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular inspections to maintain safe working environment
• Maintaining accurate records of material deliveries, equipment usage, and other logistical activities, and preparing reports for project management
• Working closely with project managers and site engineers to align logistics with project timelines and requirements

Skills:

• Experience with construction site logistics, materials, equipment, and processes
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required
• Knowledge of safety regulations in construction industry
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Degree in logistics, construction management is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills

 

Other details:

• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Pay rate is $25/hr.
• Position is temp to hire
