Location: Yuba-Sutter Area
Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time (Evaluation-to-Hire)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview:

Express is recruiting for a Machining / Equipment Painter for a local industrial manufacturing facility in the Yuba-Sutter area.

This hybrid role ensures steady, full-time workflow by combining machining responsibilities with industrial painting. The position supports production by machining small components and preparing equipment for final finishing and shipment. The company is willing to train in areas where experience is limited.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate drill press and manual lathe for light machining tasks
• Perform drilling, cutting, and finishing of small components
• Prepare equipment surfaces for paint (cleaning, sanding, masking)
• Apply industrial coatings and finishes to components
• Inspect finished parts for quality and appearance standards
• Assist in staging equipment for delivery
• Maintain shop tools and painting equipment
• Follow safety protocols for machining and paint application

Qualifications:

• Experience operating manual machining equipment preferred
• Industrial painting experience a plus
• Willingness to learn and expand skill set
• Mechanical aptitude
• Reliable and team-oriented

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• $18.00 – $24.00 per hour depending on experience
