Location: Yuba-Sutter Area
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview:

Express has partnered with a local manufacturer specializing in industrial and agricultural equipment components to hire an Engineering / Drafting Technician.

This role supports design, development, and production by creating detailed SolidWorks models and technical drawings. The position ensures manufactured components meet precise dimensional tolerances and function properly in real-world agricultural and industrial applications. Recent graduates with strong CAD knowledge are encouraged to apply; industry experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Develop detailed production drawings with proper tolerances and specifications
• Revise and update drawings to reflect engineering changes
• Collaborate with machining and production teams to ensure manufacturability
• Assist with reverse engineering of components
• Maintain accurate revision control and drawing documentation
• Support engineering improvements and production efficiency

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software
• Degree or coursework in engineering, drafting, or related field preferred
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment and practices a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when assisting in shop coordination
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25.00 – $32.00 per hour depending on experience
