Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview:

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established industrial equipment manufacturer and service provider in the Yuba-Sutter area to hire a Hydraulic Mechanic. 

This hands-on shop position focuses on evaluating, rebuilding, and testing hydraulic cylinders used in agricultural and industrial applications. The company is open to training a mechanically inclined and motivated individual or bringing on an experienced hydraulic repair professional. This is a long-term opportunity with room for growth in a stable manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble hydraulic cylinders and related components
• Inspect rods, barrels, pistons, glands, and seals for wear or failure
• Measure components to determine reusability or required replacement
• Replace seals, bearings, and damaged internal parts
• Reassemble cylinders to manufacturer and in-house specifications
• Perform pressure testing and verify integrity of rebuilt units
• Identify and order seals and replacement components
• Maintain accurate repair and service documentation
• Follow all safety and quality control standards

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Previous hydraulic repair experience preferred
• Experience working with seals, bearings, and heavy components a plus
• Ability to read diagrams and identify mechanical components
• Comfortable working in a shop environment
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a shop environment handling mechanical components

Compensation & Benefits:

• $18.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience
