Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview:

Express has partnered with a local industrial equipment manufacturer in the Yuba-Sutter area to hire an experienced Machinist.

This position is responsible for machining precision components used in hydraulic systems and agricultural equipment. The machinist will operate manual lathes, mills, and drill presses to produce parts to exact specifications and tolerances in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and drill presses
• Machine shafts, bushings, sleeves, and custom components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision tools
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment
• Troubleshoot dimensional or fitment issues
• Support continuous improvement in shop processes

Qualifications:

• Experience operating manual machining equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately
• Understanding of machining tolerances
• Strong attention to detail
• Safety-focused and dependable

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• $22.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience
