Schedule: 10:00 AM – Close (10–12 hour shifts; hours may vary)

Position Summary
Express Employment Professionals is hiring reliable Produce Packers / Repackers for a busy produce distribution warehouse in McAllen, TX. This hands-on position involves sorting, inspecting, and repacking fresh produce such as figs and limes to ensure quality and proper presentation for distribution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Duties

• Inspect fresh produce such as figs, limes, and other fruits for quality, size, and appearance
• Sort and remove damaged or spoiled produce from inventory
• Pack and repack produce into boxes or containers for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary packing area
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and warehouse safety procedures
• Assist with general warehouse tasks including packing, stacking, and preparing orders
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and packing goals

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
• Previous experience in produce handling, packing, or food processing is a plus but not required
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
