Job Title: Automotive Mechanic ????

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and tune-ups
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension components, and other parts
• Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or preventative maintenance
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs clearly to supervisors or customers
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic or Auto Technician preferred
• Knowledge of diagnostic scanners, hand tools, and shop equipment
• Ability to read and understand repair manuals and technical information
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, or work in various positions throughout the shift
• Valid driver’s license required; ASE certification is a plus
