Express Employment Professionals is assisting a client in the restoration and construction industry who is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager / Construction Estimator to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction estimates including materials, labor, and equipment
• Create sketches and scopes of work for construction projects
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure safety standards and industry compliance
• Participate in weekly work-in-progress meetings
• Assist with scheduling and project coordination

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction experience
• Experience with estimating, project coordination, or restoration projects
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders
• Comfortable working in construction jobsite environments
• Ability to work in heat, noise, and varying conditions
