This is a long term evaluation hire opportunity. 

Job Location: East Hartford

Salary: $18/hr

Shift: 9am-3pm Mondays

11am-5pm Tuesday - Friday with occasional night/weekend

Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience with kitchen cleaning experience
• Commercial kitchen dishwashing
• Experience using power washing equipment
• Able to work independently
• Able to jump to tasks with minimal direction/self-starter

Responsibilities:

• Janitor Duties: Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and wiping surfaces for a small private event venue and club
• Power washing kitchen mats and grease hood as needed
• Cleaning bathrooms and keeping facilities stocked. Maintain cleaning logs.
• Loading woodpile for indoor woodstove.
• Cleaning behind the bar area, kitchen areas and main dining room.
• Empty trash bins to the dumpster.
• Some yard maintenance and weeding as needed.
