We are seeking a reliable and organized Scale Operator to manage inbound and outbound truck weighing operations at our facility. This role involves operating the scale system, maintaining accurate records, providing paperwork to drivers, and delivering excellent customer service to both drivers and visitors.
Operate truck scale to weigh inbound and outbound loads for commercial and private vehicles
Provide required paperwork for all incoming and outgoing loads
Maintain accurate daily logs for trailer loads
Enter daily driver sheets into the IBM AS/400 system
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers and drivers
Provide excellent customer service both on the phone and in person
Ensure accuracy in data entry and documentation
Work comfortably in an industrial plant environment
Basic computer and data entry skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and maintain accurate records
Comfortable working in an industrial environment with truck traffic
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Reliable and punctual
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
