Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals in Miami Dade South is currently hiring experienced Prep Cooks for various properties in the Miami Dade area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in food preparation and kitchen operations. This is a full-time position with overtime availability and long-term opportunities.

Requirements:

• Prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes and daily production charts; wash, chop, slice, dice, and portion food items accurately and efficiently
• Follow all HACCP procedures and food safety guidelines; use standard kitchen equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area throughout the shift; properly label, date, and store all prepped ingredients
• Restock and rotate ingredients as needed; support line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely meal service

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday to Sunday | Full Time | Overtime Available
• Pay: $17.00 per hour | Paid weekly through Express Pros, Miami Dade South, FL 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food prepping or kitchen operations required; recent work history within the last 6 months required
• Knowledge of HACCP standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent attention to detail; ability to follow recipes and production charts accurately and consistently
• Availability to work weekends required; ability to start immediately; reliable, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure
