Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial appliances. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience repairing major household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair major household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, microwaves, and dishwashers

• Perform troubleshooting to identify mechanical, electrical, or system issues

• Repair or replace defective parts such as motors, belts, heating elements, and control boards

• Provide cost estimates for repairs and explain recommended services to customers

• Test appliances after repair to ensure proper operation

• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation

• Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients

• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous appliance repair experience preferred

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical diagrams

• Experience using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods

• Ability to move and position appliances safely

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in appliance repair (EPA certification a plus for refrigeration)

• Experience with multiple appliance brands

• Experience with both residential and commercial appliances
