We are currently recruiting Licensed 310T Truck Technicians as well as 3rd year apprentices for well-established companies throughout the Hamilton area. These roles focus on maintaining and repairing medium and heavy-duty trucks, commercial fleets, and specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic equipment
• Service diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Use manufacturer service manuals and technical documentation to complete repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and service advisors
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Licensed 310T or 3rd year apprentice registered under a valid Skilled Trades Ontario training agreement
• Experience working on medium or heavy-duty trucks or commercial fleet vehicles
• Valid G Class Driver’s License (clean abstract preferred)
• Z Endorsement considered an asset
• Own basic hand tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with diesel engines and commercial truck systems
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software
• Experience performing fleet preventative maintenance and repairs
• Basic computer skills for work orders and documentation

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Standing for extended periods
• Use of hand and power tools
• Ability to work in a busy shop or industrial environment
