Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting IT Desktop Support Technician III for a company located in San Clemente

 

Our client is looking for an IT Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for onsite employees across multiple buildings. This role includes troubleshooting hardware, software, and user access issues, setting up equipment, supporting onboarding/offboarding, and assisting with system deployments.

 

Service Line: Evaluation to hire, Fulltime

Pay: $29-$35/Hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibility:

·         Develop training materials and procedures and train users on proper hardware and software usage

·         Set up equipment for employee use, including installation of cables, operating systems, and software

·         Install and perform minor repairs on hardware, software, or peripheral equipment

·         Maintain records of data communication transactions, issues, and resolutions

·         Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues by reviewing manuals, running diagnostics, and working directly with users

·         Escalate major hardware or software issues to vendors or technicians as needed

·         Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees

·         Recommend hardware and software solutions for the organization

·         Perform desktop and laptop deployments including hardware and software configuration

·         Provide updates on ticket status, open issues, and ongoing projects

·         Troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications

 

Requirements:

·         2–5 years of related IT support experience

·         Strong experience with Windows, macOS, and enterprise IT environments

·         Experience supporting Active Directory, Entra ID, and Office 365

·         Ability to plan and prioritize workload with minimal supervision

·         Excellent customer service and communication skills

·         High School diploma or equivalent required

·         Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
