Draftsman/Estimator

Salary: $55-65k

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafting & Design Coordinator to support our pre-construction and sales teams in the planning and development of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate designs, clear communication between departments, and organized construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication between Pre-Construction and Sales & Marketing departments

• Assist with the design and drafting of HVAC, ductwork, and sheet metal projects

• Produce detailed construction set packages including duct order forms, hanger BOMs, and plan sets

• Review and prepare project documentation and reports

• Communicate relevant project information to appropriate team members and escalate issues when necessary

• Provide basic hardware and software support when needed

• Collaborate with team members to develop creative solutions and improve project outcomes

• Perform additional administrative and project-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of drafting or design experience, preferably in HVAC, sheet metal, or mechanical systems

• Proficiency with:

  • Revit

  • SysQue

  • Bluebeam

  • AutoCAD

  • Microsoft Office platforms

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to collaborate with team members and contribute creative ideas

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

• 100% in-office position

• Located in De Soto, IA
