Pay: $15.50 + Overtime (After initial 90 day temp to hire period, pay increases when hired)
Schedule: 7a-4p M-F with occasional Saturdays

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Associate to support fertilizer packaging and material handling operations. This role is responsible for bagging fertilizer from silos, operating heat-sealing equipment, palletizing finished product, and assisting with staging pallets for delivery. Forklift experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

·       Bag fertilizer as it is dispensed from silos according to production specifications

·       Operate and monitor heat-sealing machinery to ensure proper bag closure and product quality

·       Stack and palletize bags of fertilizer in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner

·       Assist with staging and organizing pallets for shipment and delivery

·       Operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets and materials (if qualified)

·       Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards

·       Support other production or warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills

·       High school diploma or equivalent preferred

·       Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments preferred

·       Ability to operate industrial equipment; forklift experience is a plus (certification preferred but not required)

·       Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

·       Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods

·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly

·       Comfortable working in a production environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures
