We are hiring several year-round Laundry Attendants for a facility in Conway. In this role, you will perform all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading, ironing, folding, and storing.

 

Duties

• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens and towels
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sinks, machines, and storage spaces, adhering to safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when restocking is necessary
• Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation with verifiable work history
• Ability to follow direction, and work autonomously with detail and precision
• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry-cleaning processes
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards in hospitality settings
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
