We have been asked by a client in Carmel, IN to help them find a Kitchen Assistant for an employee cafeteria. In this role you will help prepare food, support food station setup, assist employees during lunch service, and help maintain a clean and organized cafeteria environment.

Pay, Hours, and Benefits

• Salary: $18.00 per hour
• Hours/Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If you excel, you may be invited to start at 6:30 AM to assist with additional preparation.

What will you do as a Kitchen Assistant?

• Help prepare food for the cafeteria.
• Set up the food stations prior to lunch service
• Assist employees during the lunch period
• Clean the cafeteria after lunch
• Help prepare the area for the following day’s service
• Follow dress code and safety guidelines, including wearing all black clothing and closed-toe shoes

What qualifications will you have as a Kitchen Assistant?

• Ability to work Monday–Friday during scheduled hours
• Prior experience working in a cafeteria or food-service environment
• Willingness to assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light cleaning duties
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain food-service standards
