Express Employment Professionals in Akron, Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Office Coordinator to support daily purchasing, customer order management, invoicing, and shipping documentation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, values accuracy, and enjoys working with both internal teams and external customers.


Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Some flexibility available for the right candidate

Pay

  • $18–$22 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Vendor Management

  • Purchase raw materials, tools, and equipment parts via email, phone, and online platforms
  • Maintain purchasing records in Excel and QuickBooks
  • Create item receipts when products arrive at the facility
  • Set up new vendors (credit applications, W-9s, proof of insurance, etc.)

Customer Purchase Order Management

  • Enter customer purchase orders into Excel spreadsheets daily
  • Track and accurately subtract PO balances as finished parts are shipped

Invoicing & Accounts Receivable

  • Create and send daily customer invoices using QuickBooks
  • File invoices electronically
  • Monitor customer payments and ensure invoices are paid according to terms
  • Process ACH and check payments

Shipping & Documentation

  • Prepare shipping documents for all outgoing customer shipments
  • Use Excel spreadsheets with built-in macros to generate paperwork
  • Verify accuracy of all information before releasing documents to the production floor

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Purchasing and purchase order creation
  • Customer PO management
  • Invoicing and payment tracking
  • Shipping and receiving paperwork
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Strong comfort working with spreadsheets and detailed data
