Sorter Job Summary: A growing Grand Rapids liquidation company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented sorter to join their team! This role plays an important part in organizing and processing incoming merchandise, ensuring items are accurately sorted, inspected, and prepared for resale or distribution. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping products organized and handled with care

Sorter Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize incoming merchandise based on product type, condition, and category.

• Inspect items for damage or defects and separate products accordingly.

• Prepare products for resale, repackaging, or distribution.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

• Assist with unloading shipments and moving inventory within the warehouse.

• Accurately place items into designated bins, pallets, or staging areas.

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8am-4/5pm; Tuesday/Thursday: 11am-8pm; Saturday: 7am-4pm. These hours are flexible to work before and after your shift! Lots of OT!
• $18.00/HR

Sorter Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, sorting, packing, or general labor experience preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong reliability and consistent attendance.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs throughout the shift.

• Basic ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and a good eye for identifying product condition and categories.
