Steel Fabricator

Located in Zelienople, PA

Salary: $24.50/hr

Express is seeking a Steel Fabricator for a company in Zelienople, PA! 

 

 

Job Description:

• Prepare materials for welding, including components from CNC burn tables, bar stock, pipe, and angles

• Review blueprints and fabrication drawings to determine layout requirements

• Measure and verify dimensional accuracy of materials before fabrication

• Use overhead cranes, hoists, and other equipment to move materials safely

• Lay out sheet metal, plate, and weldments for fabrication and assembly

• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, rolls, presses, punches, and saws

• Coordinate material needs with laborers and machine operators

• Identify potential fabrication issues and communicate with supervisors or engineering

• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to safety improvement efforts

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred

• Sheet metal fabrication or welding experience is a plus

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Ability to use measuring tools accurately (to 1/32 inch)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and wear required PPE

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: 

• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay: 

• Starting at $24.50/hr
