Overview
We’re looking for an energetic and highly organized Recruiting & Marketing Specialist to help drive talent acquisition and brand visibility in our local market.
In this role, you’ll be at the center of both candidate experience and marketing strategy. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression, as it involves greeting all candidates and visitors. You’ll connect with job seekers, conduct initial interviews, manage applicant flow, and support the team in identifying top talent. At the same time, you’ll lead key marketing initiatives, manage social media channels, and help build our brand presence in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Talent Engagement
Serve as the first point of contact for applicants, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
Conduct initial phone interviews and assist candidates through the application process.
Identify strong candidates and generate interest in upcoming opportunities.
Maintain accurate applicant records within the recruiting system.
Coordinate interview scheduling with the recruitment team.
Administer and review candidate skills assessments.
Review and respond to online applications.
Support recruiting initiatives, including job fairs, community outreach, and sourcing activities.
Assist with inside sales efforts such as Most Placeable Candidate (MPC) calls and appointment setting.
Turn employment verification calls into potential recruiting or client opportunities.
Marketing & Brand Development
Support the development and execution of local marketing and recruiting campaigns.
Manage daily activity across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
Create and post engaging content to attract both candidates and potential clients.
Monitor and respond to online reviews, helping maintain a strong brand reputation.
Maintain and update the local website, including job postings, events, and company updates.
Manage relationships with marketing vendors and track campaign performance.
Coordinate community partnerships, local events, and job fairs.
Use analytics and reporting to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Research new marketing tools, platforms, and trends to enhance outreach.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), Canvas
Strong phone communication and multi-line phone experience
Competent with social media platforms
Basic math and reporting skills
Core Competencies

Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative team mindset
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in customer service, recruiting, marketing, or sales preferred
Familiarity with office administration and business procedures is an asset
