CNC Mill Set Up Operator

1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm

 

If you like a smaller shop where you can get to know your coworkers and be appreciated for your work, consider this opening for an experienced Machine Operator for first shift. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of metal fabrication and machine operation experience, preferably with CNC mills.  One shift operation there are no surprises in your schedule, just good work with good people.

 

Daily Responsibilities:

• Reading work orders and entering instructions, including reference points
• Monitoring material availability
• Set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, mills, and lathes.
• Checking product quality both before and during production, using mics, calipers, and gauges
• Knowledgeable about GD&T, blue print reading and detecting and correcting operational malfunctions also helpful
