Floor and Carpet Care Manager

Located in tigard, OR

Lead a hardworking, hands-on team with a local cleaning company that makes a real difference! As the Floor & Carpet Care Supervisor, you’ll oversee multiple sites across the metro area, from hospitals and police stations to government buildings, while coaching janitorial teams to deliver top-notch results. You’ll be both a leader and a hands-on problem solver, ensuring every site meets high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.

Duties:

• Supervise and support janitorial teams at multiple locations, setting daily priorities and assigning tasks
• Perform hands-on floor care and carpet work alongside your team, including stripping, waxing, burnishing, deep scrubbing, and carpet extraction
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready and functioning for each site visit
• Conduct quality inspections during and after work, coaching team members as needed
• Enforce site-specific security procedures, including alarms, logbooks, and restricted access areas
• Manage administrative tasks such as tracking hours, scheduling, ordering supplies, and conducting performance reviews
• Respond to client concerns promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken
